Rachans Crofthouse

Welcome and thank you for visiting. Rachans is a traditional style croft house located in Breasclete on the Isle of Lewis, in the Western Isles, the ideal rural setting for a self-catering holiday. The house sits in an elevated position overlooking East Loch Roag. Rachans is a comfortable, spacious house, with a fully enclosed secure garden and extensive off-road parking space. Lounge, kitchen, bathroom and kingsize bedroom downstairs, one double, one twin bedroom upstairs, sleeps up to six people.

A peaceful location for walking, wildlife observations and touring throughout Lewis and Harris. Rachans is situated on a croft with easy access to open hillsides with three large lochs in close proximity.

Rachans is also close to sandy beaches, cliff top coastal walks, tweed mills and ancient monuments. Two miles from the Callanish Stones, eating facilities and local post office (with cash machine), also popular surfing beaches nearby. A convenient location for touring, recreation and relaxation. Four miles to the Doune Braes Hotel for evening meals and takeaways.
